Directions
From New Orleans International Airport and West on I-10: From the airport, follow I-10 going East. Stay to your right past I-10 and Causeway Blvd. Continue east on I-10 to New Orleans/Slidell. Exit Esplanade Street (Exit on the right side). Make a right on Esplanade and continue toward the river to Decatur Street. Make a right on Decatur Street and continue to St. Peter Street. Make a left onto St. Peter Street and turn left into the French Market parking lot.
From the East on I10: From Slidell/East New Orleans follow I-10 going west. Take the Elysian Fields exit, exit #237. Continue on Elysian Fields. Turn left on Decatur Street and continue to St. Peter Street. Make a left onto St. Peter Street and turn left into the French Market parking lot.

The French Market operates three parking lots, all convenient to our stores, shops and outdoor markets. All lots are operated by Standard Parking. Call (504) 599-5658 for contract parking, validation program, and daily and weekly rates.
Parking Lots
French Market Parking Lots
Located along the River behind our retail shops on Decatur Street, this lot stretches from behind Washington Artillery Park down to the Flea Market. The lot has only one entrance, at St. Peter Street, near Jax Brewery. To enter, take a right on Decatur Street at St. Peter and proceed to the first left. The lot is open 24 hours and is monitored by a French Market security team.
Farmers Market lot
400 Elysian Fields
This lot is accessible by entering at Esplanade, just before Frenchmen Street, across from the Old U.S. Mint.
Farmers Market Annex Lot
500 Elysian Fields
This lot is on Elysian Fields, first block on the left hand side, across from Farmer’s Market Lot.
Street Car Access
The French Market is accessible by the RTA’s redline streetcars and buses.
RIVERFRONT STREETCAR: Stops #1, #,2, and #3 All stop in the French Market District.
ELYSIAN FIELDS BUS #55: Runs from Canal Street or from Elysian fields.
