Join us at the New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park (916 Decatur Street) for award winning children’s musician and author Johnette Downing. Johnette will perform a concert and sing along especially suited for young people from Pre-school to 3rd grade, all with a Louisiana theme. Book signing to directly follow at A Tisket A Tasket Book Shop, adjacent to the New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park!

A Taste of the Opera at the French Market

Three Sundays in September, the NEW ORLEANS OPERA ASSOCIATION  presents three vocalists at the French Market who will perform a concert that previews selections from their 2016-2017 season. All concerts are free and open to the public and are held in the Dutch Alley Performance Pavilion located at St. Phillip and Decatur Streets, riverside, one block from the open-air French Market.

Tables and chairs are provided but there is limited seating; come early to grab a seat! You are welcome…
